What amenities are included?
The Monarch offers everything you need for a relaxing Up North stay. There are 3 bedrooms, 1.5 bathrooms, a cozy living room with fireplace and views of the lake, a fully equipped kitchen and dining area that seats 6, and a game room in the basement!
Outside you will find kayaks, a rowboat, and paddleboat for your use.
The Monarch also has a washer and dryer, air conditioning, and heating for year-round comfort. Dog-friendly amenities include a dog bed, bowls, toys, and more!
How do I know that my reservation is confirmed?
You will know your reservation is confirmed via the email confirmation you receive after booking. If you have any questions, feel free to email us at hello@themonarchmi.com
What happens if I want to cancel my reservation?
We understand plans can change. Because of the seasonal nature of Northern Michigan, we offer a full refund (less credit card processing fees) for cancellations made at least 65 days before your arrival. Most guests reserve their stays well in advance, so this window helps us accommodate others looking to book.
For added peace of mind, travel insurance is available during checkout—a great option if you’d like extra flexibility or protection against unexpected changes.
Are pets allowed here?
YES! We love dogs and encourage you to bring yours. We believe family vacations should include the whole family - including your dog(s).
In addition, we provide many dog amenities to make their stay just as fun as yours! There is a $125 pet fee per stay to help cover the additional cleaning and care that go into ensuring the home is spotless for all guests.
What are the check-in and check-out times?
Check-in is 4PM and Check-out is 11AM. You will entry via a keyless smart lock that is programmed specifically for your stay. You will find a welcome book upon arrival with local reccomendations, things to do, and more!
Do you offer a discount?
We offer discounts to all repeat guests! If you book your next stay during your current stay, your discount is even higher!
